Needs some TLC but can be heaven in the rain or a storm. Near the Trail, big clearing for tents, upper elevation.

It was a bit off the trail and the privy was even farther. The shelter was small but there was plenty of room for tents. Not a bad hike if you leave from Hanover.

Beautiful place on the AT but truly annoyed disrespectful people have been out here trashing the area. Privy is in sad shape. Broken glass, new and antique, surrounds the shelter. Side trails have lots of trash. Our crew cleaned and carried out what trash from others that we could, as we always do, but we couldnt drag all of it out with our gear too.
