Campsite: Velvet Rocks Shelter Backcountry Campground on the AT — Appalachian National Scenic Trail
Beautiful place on the AT but truly annoyed disrespectful people have been out here trashing the area. Privy is in sad shape. Broken glass, new and antique, surrounds the shelter. Side trails have lots of trash. Our crew cleaned and carried out what trash from others that we could, as we always do, but we couldnt drag all of it out with our gear too.
