Clean. Quiet. Star gazing - AMAZING! Camp host Bob was friendly and kept a clean well run camp. Bathrooms were good enough that even my grandma would have been proud!
Great place to stay. No electricity and waste water connection. But with fresh water and very nice Pitches. We came with a 24ft RV. 20$ / night. Don't forget to extinguish your fire afterwards (forest ). Highly recommended!
Devils Canyon Campground is a fantastic, quiet place to stay that is close enough to the Canyonlands without the crowds! We loved it here! We'll be back! The camp host, Bob, was wonderful! We had dinner with him several times. His vault toilets are the cleanest I've ever been in at any park! He gives you his phone number when you get there and if there are any issues, you just call! When the toilet was almost out of paper, (due to people taking it....c'mon, people!! :-/ ) I texted fairly early one morning and the next thing I know, he's on his way over! There are so many hikes around Blanding and so many MTB trails around Monticello that we didn't even scratch the surface of all we could have done in the 3 weeks we stayed there! We're already planning our next trip back in Sept 2024!
Very nice campground with paved road to and through the campground. Sites were mostly level and are available in sizes that can accommodate most RV's. It provides both reservable and FCFS sites which is nice. I had no trouble just dropping in as there were numerous sites available. The restrooms were clean and there was drinking water available at multiple faucets throughout the CG. There is a dumpster at the entrance for garbage and two self serve pay sites in the CG. Sites are fairly private with a picnic table and fire ring. There is cell reception (ATT and T-mobile) in some areas though it's not great. Quiet and easy to get in and out. Great place for the night or longer if in the area.
This campground was one of the best we have stayed in as far as dry camping goes. Pads were well spaced out and there was plenty of room. We had beautiful clear skies and hardly any light pollution so star grazing was amazing. Also had a great view of the Annular Eclipse.
