From jct I-94 (exit 42) & US 85: Go 1/4 mi S on US 85.
The service was a bit slow...looked to me like they had one waitress covering everything, where 2 for the amount of people the morning of 10/9/2023 would have been better. That being said, the gal attending us all was friendly and doing the best she could be expected to under the strain.
This was my first time here. The restaurant was clean, homey, and the food quite delicious. I am looking forward to trying lunch at a future opportunity.
Stopped in for lunch and it was fabulous! Portions are just right, service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is fun!
We are traveling for few days & stopped to get gas. He asked for lunch recommendation & was told this place was good. There were lots of cars so we went in. Trapper’s Kettle was so interesting. The wild animals were everywhere. So many & such big ones. They had displays honoring different trappers. Traps were displayed on walls. Very interesting.
The menu was large. The food was good. The ice cream was good. Iced tea in North Dakota! How wonderful!! The service was good.
You should go!
The place hasn't changed in 40 years the same old school look of appearances The food and service was addiquiet the nik-nak souvenir shop addiquiet I like that they offer overnight horse boarding stalls for a fee for those transitting through with Ponys .
Oh my goodness!
What a unique, detailed & astonishing place!
All sorts of mounted animals throughout the place, traps for door handles, a boat for the salad bar, kettle for the soup area, & adorable dishes as well. There is so much to see & experience!!!
The food was delicious, & our server, Brittney, was fantastic!!!!!!!! Running her bum off while her coworker visited with what looked like a friend. She was very loud & dramatic. My 3 year old wanted to ask her why she was being so loud.... hmmmm
Definitely would go back if we go through there again!!
Thank you for a fun dining experience!!!!!
