Fantastic facility! Loved the fact it had warm showers, and easy access to the trails. The staff was friendly and checked up on the campers to help them with anything they needed. Definitely worth the money. Will be coming here more frequently!

What an amazing setup these guys have! Platform decks keep your tent up off the ground, quick and easy access to all of Coler Mountain Trails, hot showers, and well maintained grounds and campsites. The Airstrip bistro is a 2 minute bike ride from the camp grounds and has food (their salsa is the best), coffee, beer, and snacks; they have a beer garden, rooftop seating, and a nice seating area with a few big adult size swings. Slaughter Pen trails are fairly close and was a quick ride from the south parking lot through town.

I couldn’t find much about it online, but if you are looking to cool down on a hot day, or if cold plunges after a day of riding is something you like, check out Spring Box Pool. It’s below the camper van parking and is easily accessible by foot on the trail. It was about 45-50 in April and was perfect!

Worth the trip from Central Texas! 10/10 would recommend, and I will be returning.

Fantastic experience. Will definitely be back. The place was beautiful. Absolutely enjoyed my whole time there. The place is so well taken care of! The camp site was perfect for tent camping. The bike wash was an unexpected delight, able to wash your bike after some rugged mountain trails is very nice. Water bottle fill up as well. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Nice toilets and showers. The showers were very nice after some trails. Staff are present on site and are very friendly. This place definitely beat staying in a hotel for me.

Awesome playground for mountain bikers and a beautiful preserve for people just wanting to spend time in nature. The biking is great with trails of all difficulties, from crazy tech downhill trails to a paved greenway that is great for a cruise or just a walk. The campsites are really cool too! The prices or more than fair and they have a really nice restroom with heated showers. There is a bike wash and repair stations for your bike as well as ample parking in different areas of the park. The coffee shop is super cool and there is lots of wildlife through the place. It’s just a beautiful spot overall!

I camped for 3 nights in late November. Stayed in one of their 5 Class B RV spots. Wasn’t very crowded. No electrical hookups but wasn’t an issue for me. Awesome basecamp for mountain biking at Coler and other nearby spots (I also did the Back 40 Loop). These were the nicest, cleanest campground bathrooms and showers I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!
