We are the only campground located on the Silver Comet Trail (mile marker 34). We offer RV sites: 30& 50 AMP sites with power/water/sewer. We do not offer wifi or tv. And we do not have concrete pads we have gravel lots. Tent sites come with power and water(bring your own hose to fill water bottles/rinse dishes). We have a large group camping area for Boy/Girl Scouts & Biking groups that have water/power. We draw people from far and wide from all the states, even from foreign countries to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful, well known, Silver Comet Trail. Here at The Beautiful Rock Campground, RV, and Music Park we try to promote, as not to compete, with the small local businesses in our community. Rest easy here at The Rock!

Relaxing weekend. We had three tents, everyone else had an RV, but a great time. Peaceful, away from the noise and most importantly, away from the house for a couple nights. Owner was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for the weekend getaway.
We really enjoyed the stay here. Beautiful and quiet. We had the lake view, everyone around us just stayed to themselves. And if you stay by the lake, the ducks are people and dog friendly!! They kept going up to our dogs. The evening we would see up to 20 deer by the lake. Nice walking areas also. The people running the campground are very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place to anyone!! The rate is great, and more then enough room all around for the camper (our is a 38 foot) and enough room for parking (we had 2 vehicles) We stayed a month, it was perfect!!!
Campground is superb! Clean, lots of landscape to enjoy and quiet. Full hookups and a steal for the price! If only I got to talk to Jon. Lots of history here and there's some great stories to be told. Wish I got to see inside the old stage / barn. The property is grassy and sprawling with rolling hills and massive trees providing shade. You can see the old stage here and 35 cows just grazing on the property near by happy as can be…Next time I'm here, I got to meet Jon and talk about the days with driveshaft building and Dale Earnhardt. I was only here for 2 nights passing through meeting with friends, but after talking with the granddaughter, I kick myself for not talking with the owner.
Very beautiful and tranquil. Loved the place will definitely go again. It is very peaceful and quiet.
