Tent camping at MILO FARM - SACRED LAND- The 50 acres of Milo Farm is a nature retreat with a cedar forest, a hardwood forest, 2 ponds, bohemian lodge, art studio, pool, barn, miles of trails, campsites & other buildings. Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Check out the Hippie Trailer and Bunkhouse glamping options too!
With our regular tent campsites you will have your own firepit, grill and picnic table. You'll be assigned either the entire campsite #1 or #2 in the east field of Milo Farm. These are family friendly! Each site is private and near the animal pen! Meet our goats and donkeys! There is an outhouse with compost toilet between the two campsites. Campsite #1 is bigger and can hold up to 6 tents. Campsite #2 is quant for a smaller group 1-2 tents.
Ask about availability of boat and art cart golf cart rental if interested. Fill water jugs at spigots located at the animal pen or pool pump. Outdoor shower is by the pool pump as well.
If you like being more secluded and like to primitive camp there are over 20 spots in the 22 acres of our Freedom Field on the west side of the property. You pick your location, pack in and pack out trash. There's a creek, big open sky, sunset watching opportunities and amazing energy in this field. There are no outhouses in Freedom Field. Water jugs can be filled at the lodge.
Milo Farm is located in the country just 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City & 20 min from the sports stadiums.
There's a short hike to the campsites, no parking near. So unfortunately camping buses, vans, RVs won't work for these locations.
Full details will be sent with check-in information email!

Off of I-70 take the Grain Valley, BB hwy north to Burgess road. Burgess road west to the Milo Farm sign. Left down the half mile gravel lane, past the white house to the end. Pass through the iron gates (close it behind you so that the animals don't get out). Park perpendicular on the drive.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Milo Farm for an overnight stay. I stayed in the impeccably designed two bedroom unit in the lodge. Loni has done an amazing job with gorgeous design touches and extremely well thought out amenities such as a steam bath, a sauna and a Keurig coffee maker. As a former hotelier in high end destinations, I have an acute appreciation for thoughtful, guest centric design.
Be it for a romantic getaway or a silent retreat, these accommodations along with walking through the gorgeous surrounding forest or lying in the multiple hammocks through out the 50 acres or peacefully meditating by either of the two ponds, you leave feeling recharged and connected to the earth.
As an added bonus, I got to meet the two,
one week old baby goats that Loni is raising. Treat your self to a few nights in this soul lifting, spiritual launching pad called Milo Farm.
Amazing beautiful relaxing oasis! Many great events that are hosted throughout the year. Follow milo farms on facebook and visit their website to see all the events. Airbnbs, camping spaces, and cabins are available for booking. Amazing hosts and friendly people.
Awesome spiritual retreat center. Loni is an amazing host, and intuitive leader. So blessed!
A great place to stay or visit! Lots of great events going on, but there's also plenty of cute trails and animals to interact while on the farm. Very unique farmstead with friendly people
We had awesome family time in this farm stay. The morning sunrise from the pool and sunset from the freedom trail were beautiful. Our favorite were the farm animals , we could pet and feed them, the hammock row, trails, meditation under wisdom tree was magical, the kayak on the south pond was short and the pictures came out great, swimming pool was clean, temperature controlled and non slippery, our toddler loved the toy room which had games and books. The house had Two rooms and bathrooms which were designed in different ways and there were madame Alexandra international doll collection . The Buddha in the house gave a zen vibe. Two nights of stay were not enough and we needed more 😊 we thank Loni for sharing her house and responding to us whenever needed.
