From Troy, take Highway 61 north 10 miles, then Route E west 0.25 mile, and Route RA north 3 miles to the largest tract. The smaller western tract is north of Silex on Route UU, then west on County Road 248.
I used to go here frequently as a child. Still very nice area for hiking. Has a gun range that was very crowded on a Sunday. Also has a skeet range. The southern portion was quiet and a nice place for wildlife viewing and hiking.
i only come here for the shooting ranges and they are great. 100% unmanned range!
nice open field to shoot clays
the pistol and rifle ranges are located across a creek, big trucks need not worry but small cars cant pass, so you will need to get out and walk across:/
Only visited the shooting range at 25 and 50 yards. The target backings desperately need to be replaced and a stone seat fell off of one of the tables, almost crushing my ammo can. As far as the range part of Logan, it's a decent place to go for some free-ish target practice (ammo = $$$).
Pretty place, Gun range is adequate and almost a best kept secret. Camp grounds are host to a strange mix of transients though. Very sketchy crowd living out of tents and vehicles.
Nice place for a pistol! I wouldn't waste my rifle ammo on a 50yrd range!!! Where's a 100yrd??????
