Very pleasantly surprised.
Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay here very much
We just stopped over for one night on the way from Minnesota back to Texas.
I had already talked to Josh - who was very friendly and helpful- he texted me a link to book our stay and suggested a certain spot for us since we wanted to be near the picnic area and fire pit. When we pulled in to this nice, well- maintained park, we realized there’s not a bad seat in the house. Since the park is relatively small, all of the spots are conveniently located to everything.
We didn’t use the Wi-Fi - we are on vacation- but we did sit around the fire , played guitar and sang, had a few drinks, looked at the stars then used the very clean spacious shower. Great stop. Appreciate the hospitality too!!
When I asked for a dinner suggested Firehouse Pizza.
Bonus Review: if you stay here, do yourself a favor, walk .2 miles to Firehouse Pizza and have the most amazing pizza and cheese bread. (They don’t service alcohol but you can bring it in. )
Hidden gem!!! Great little RV park with full hookups, 30 & 50amp, shower house and nice green space. Quiet & easy access to the interstate. We have a big rig 44+ ft and fit perfectly! Great pizza place in town too! Thanks for having us Josh!
Great little park. We pulled in for an overnight stay on our way home. Josh was very pleasant and helpful. Site was a pull through, a bit small but worked great for our Motorhome and tow vehicle. Definitely would stay here again.
What a great spot! This small campground is less than a half mile off the interstate, nice trees, a clean bathroom - a single stall for men, one for women - and a shower with plenty of hot water. 30A and 50A spots. Far enough away from city lights to have a dark sky. We stayed with a 34’ travel trailer and there was enough room for us to back in and leave the truck hooked up overnight. We would definitely stay here again.
This place is beautiful with a country feel. They have tent camping, 30 amp and 50 amp gravel sites. The water pressure is good here. Electricity is good. They have sewer on sites and some sites without. They also have a dump station. They have restrooms. We are here in a 44 ft rig. There are 20 RV sites and a whole area for tent campers. Josh the owner is very nice.
