Traveling East and West I-10; Exit 283 Live Oak, Jasper. Take South 129 through Live Oak to Hwy 51 and turn right. Follow the Hwy 51 signs around the round-about. Go south on Hwy 51 over the Suwannee River. Take a left on County Rd 354 for about 3.5 m iles. A sign for the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort and Campground and Convict Spirngs will be on the right. Turn left on Primrose Rd .8 miles to the resort.
We stayed in lot 265 from Nov through March. Having been full-time RVing for a year and a half, from Georgia to Oregon in the north and New Mexico to Florida in the south. This is by far the best community we have seen. ALWAYS improving with fantastic results. They just planted a bunch of bushes and trees. They actually dug trenches between each new growth to place conduits providing water to help them survive. NOT surface lines that would be ugly, buried lines. This was done well away from the RV sites, over by primitive camping. Just one example of the CARE the couple that owns the park provides. This park will only get better.
This campground resort is very lovely. If I could give more than 5 stars for the location and river views, I would. The site sizes are generous and there are both full rv hookups, as well as rustic camping and cabin rentals. Of special note is a 21 and older caming section that just opened up. While landscaping is being done, there are few mature trees for shade. However, it does have its own pool and hot tub for adults only. Very nice. I will definitely be going back.
We really enjoyed our stay at Suwannee River Rendezvous resort. We have been here 3 months. We got to see Jim and Diane Fields sing for New years. Jim does an Elvis Tribute. It was excellent. Just one of many community events. We can picnic on the river anytime. The staff is friendly and they have lots of good sites. Good places to walk the dog, good laundry room, and a Publix thirty minutes away.
You'll see a lot of folks complaining about this park, and NEVER bothering to tell you it's being updated, and ignoring that they blew off the welcome email giving you instructions for check in. Definitely read it!
This facility is very well maintained, maintenance is constantly on the grounds updating and cleaning where needed.. both pools, hot tubs, bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean and fixed promptly, and really priced inexpensive. The restaurant has great food at a great price, and the staff really help with a single call.
We will absolutely return!
