Enjoy our resort amenities, complete RV Park, tent campground & cabin rentals and easy access to our area activities. Enjoy the shade and privacy afforded by our tall, moss-laded oaks and palmettos. We have outstanding sunrises and sunsets.
North Beach Camp Resort is located on 30-heavily-wooded acres on a barrier island between the saltwater North River and the Atlantic Ocean, just 4.5 miles north of historic downtown St. Augustine and 24 miles south of Jacksonville Beach. Our prime northeast Florida beach camping location makes us the destination of choice for in the know campers!

Great location! Extends from the ocean front to bay. There’s a great restaurant right along side the campground, Aunt Kate’s. Very private with spacious sites. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the bath house.
We stayed a week in our camper for our anniversary at North Beach Camp Resort and we were very happy with our stay! It made for a great trip and we would love to come back again on our next stop in St Augustine. We were very happy that we stayed for a whole week so we could check out everything the park and area had to offer, and it was a very relaxing break away. The employees in the office were nice and even though we booked the same day, when we showed up they already had our whole packet of information put together for us and ready to go!We easily found our site, which was VERY SPACIOUS and each is lined with bushes on either side to make for a very private and peaceful stay. If you’re looking for a park to relax and enjoy the outdoors, this is definitely one to go to.
We couldn’t have been happier with the location. The park is right across from the beach access, which turned into a daily walk for us, and only about 15 minutes from downtown to go explore St Augustine. The back side of the park also has a fishing pier that we definitely plan on trying out next time as well!
I can't really say anything about the rooms because we stayed in our own camper.
The location is nice, right between the ocean and the intercoastal waterway. The site we were placed in was very tight for our 32' camper. There was hardly any room to back in and allow the front of the truck to swing wide.
If you love the sand, and I mean sand everywhere and in everything, then you will love this place. We hated it, the sand, that is. We'll be getting sand out of the camper for a year.
The staff was friendly. This place is conveniently located near St. Augustine if you wanted to visit there during your trip.
All in all it's a nice place, but I think it may have ruined me from ever camping in Florida again unless I have a gravel or paved site.
During our 45-day winter trip from Michigan in 2024, we spent 8 days at this park in Florida. The area is steeped in rich historical charm, and the park boasts amazing locations on a barrier lowland off the Atlantic coast. While the natural beauty is undeniable, we found that the main building and bathrooms could use some updating. Overall, it was a memorable stay in a picturesque setting.
This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Florida. It is a beach camp - pure and simple. You will read reviews of how sandy it is...but that's the point - you are on a beautiful barrier island! You are there for access to the beach (which is amazing) and the river (also amazing-the sunsets there are perfection!) and close proximity to St. Augustine. The campground owns two restaurants on site (both are delicious!). The only downside is the cell service is not great at all and no wifi. But that is also a positive...you disconnect from the things we are typically glued to. Absolutely coming back for many years I hope.
