The park has 60 campsites, four reservable group camps, four picnic shelters, potable drinking water at Fossil Bay early April through September, Echo Bay and Shallow Bay May through September and composting toilets.
Sucia Island Marine State Park is a 564-acre marine park with 77,700 feet of shoreline. Sucia Island is considered the crown jewel of the state's marine park system. It is consistently ranked as one of the top boating destinations in the world.
Absolutely gorgeous island with many campsites and places to anchor a boat. Sandy beaches are nice (except for all the yellow jackets) and the water is shallow enough to play and swim in. Family friendly with lots of room and shade as well as relatively nice pit toilets not far in the woods. Rock formations along the shore are a lot of fun to explore.
Beautiful Island. We stopped for a picnic lunch and did some exploring. Nice place to do a bit of hiking and spaces to camp. Nice little beach to walk on or to swim if you can handle the icy salt water. We waded in. Very clean and has composting toilets open to use.
One of my favorite happy places in the world. I’ve been here on busy holidays and still had plenty of room to anchor. Also been here and was the only one. Cell phone reception in Echo Bay is good. Lovely hikes. Washington state park with some scattered camping sites. Pack out what you bring in. Please keep it nice for all of us. Bird watching, seals, sea lions, and huckleberries in season. So much to enjoy.
This island is very well cared for and the campsites are nice. The composting toilets don't seem prepared for large groups but do the job. Ours came with a free laxative and attendant. He was a little creepy but kept out of the way. Great sunsets and sunrises. Docks were packed but everyone and their dogs were great!
Great destination and very well-kept favorites including picnic tables, restrooms, docks, and walking paths.
