Me and my husband stayed at OPPA KOA last year or so in April for our wedding anniversary, we rented a cute cabin that was the perfect size for us , I was unsure about having to walk to the bathroom facilities each time BUT after doing it the first time I actually found it refreshing and enjoyed it, the firepits in front of the cabins are amazing and we enjoyed making smores our first night there ( my husband's first time ever making smores whaaat? Lol) the location is absolutely beautiful all of the trees and wild life ( we had deer stop by every night and early morning ) we could hear the crickets and other wild life at night while laying in bed which was super relaxing to listen to while falling asleep , the front office ladies were super nice and informative, we have been dying to come back soon and hopefully are able to afford a vacation there again! We loved staying here while we were exploring port angeles and sequim , thanks for all you do!
This was a clean, well-maintained, and friendly KOA. There was little to no grass at the campsites, but they did have a separate grassy area for pets. The pool was very nice and clean, but the hot tub was closed and probably not been used for years. Some of the campsites had wooden dividers which was great for privacy. The store was well-stocked and reasonably priced. The location was convenient and close to cities with big stores such as Walmart and Costco. They have fun activities on the weekends during the summer but we missed them since we only stayed during the week. They did not have recycling, which was kind of a bummer but we took our bottles and cans home. The campground is situated on farm land, which gave us lots of greenery, cows and fresh air, and also beautiful mountain views.
Great location, close to all activities. The full hook sites are wide& leveled with pea size crushed rock, with landscaping in between. The electric, water only sites had a lot of tree coverage. The pool was nice. The only issue we had is that you get a lot of road noise, the park itself was well maintained & quiet.
As full-time RVers, we can say that this is our absolute favorite RV park we have stayed in!! Every spot has great outdoor space and a view of the mountains. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind- You can tell they are happy to be here! You also can't beat the location! We will definitely be staying here anytime we are back in the area and/or passing through.
Wow! What an awesome stay! We arrived around 11pm and the camp host/manager was still awake and met with us to give us directions and instructions on where to park, how to get into our cabin/restrooms, and when check out was in the morning. The cabin was clean and exactly what we expected. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The grounds were well maintained and everyone working on site was incredibly friendly! This is my 3rd time staying here, and I would ABSOLUTELY stay again! Great owners, comfortable stay and awesome amenities!
