It is a beautiful place be sure to take along some burger or hotdogs anything to bbq. There is grills and picnic tables great place for a family picnic.
Nice rim trail and picnic area. Very quiet and scenic. They do have tables and bbq place. Kids will love it but be careful as you are in the edge of rim.
When you park, the Plug Hat Trail is across the street. It is probably about .3 mile paved walk with educational signs explaining the plants and animals in the area. The junipers and piñon smell great along with the views. If you make it all the way to Harpers Corner you get a better view but you really should do the 2-mile walk there
