Cute visitor center with some nice rocks and souvenirs to buy. Free to enter. Cool dinosaurs outside with informative plaques. Would be good for older kids interested!
The customer service was great. The staff was knowledgeable, and my kids had a great time. My son loves dinosaurs so that was a treat for him. There's a little digging place the kids can dig to find little prehistoric treasures. We didn't get to go on the guided tour.
Great place to visit. Staff was super friendly and had all the answers. We took the hike without a guide and had so much fun. They have signs at each stop to tell you what to look for and what they are. A great way to spend time with your kids. And the trails are great too. Awesome photo spots as well.
So much to learn by a dedicated group of volunteers who do an amazing job guiding people and imparting knowledge. We got there early and had a private bus tour with Cretaceous Ken! An incredible individual who gave us so much information and made the experience so much more personal. The lovely people at the exhibits were happy to provide extra tidbits of information, so by the end we came out much smarter than when we arrived!
This place is fun for every age! It is all VERY impressive. The walk is a bit uphill, but it is all paved. They do offer a shuttle for a small fee. There are a few trails to walk or bike . The views are amazing no matter which direction you look. We walked a trail and could see drag racing on our left and the amphitheater on our right. It was pretty awesome. You can even touch some of the footprints. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Denver.
