Although we used this camp as a staging area on Division Whiskey on the Flat Fire, it is a special place. The energy is amazing and the mixed conifer stringers of old growths shade this area. It is definitely a place I will come visit again hopefully next time while not actively fighting a wildfire here. Although the scars of past fire history in the area let their presence known it is still a beautiful area. If you come here you can't help but be reminded of the importance practicing fire safety. Take measures to make sure your campfire is dead out and follow other fire restriction guidelines. Let keep the old growths here for the next 100 years. Or what's left of them anyways. Only you can Prevent forest fires!
