About Campground

Hello there! We (Christina & Brian) are excited to share our 80 acres with you! At the moment we offer only dispersed camping. We want to keep it as "Organic" as possible! So, there will only be 1 main gravel road, that is mostly covered in gravel at the moment. NO concrete or asphalt areas. Heavy rains will in-hinder on how far you can travel in. Either way, we can assist you, unless you are an RV. If you like, we have a large metal wagon that you can hand pull or pull by our truck. You are welcome to bring your UTV, but only to move your equipment and guests back and forth to our site or your vehicle. We are willing to show you around before you set up camp. If you are coming in at dark, we can suggest a campsite, then you can move in the daylight if you like. FIREWOOD: We have more than you can handle as this land has been harvested for timber prior to our purchase. We also encourage you to take some as long you use it up while in Missouri. More info at website DontMoveFirewood dot org We do NOT have amenities on site as of yet. We will provide bottled water at no cost. We highly encourage that you unplug while you are here, but not required. We do want you to have your phone with you for safety and capturing moments while you are here. We do have cell service here!  We are close to many places: \* 1/2 mile to Casey's General Store \* Mark Twain State Park: 30 min \* Long Branch State Park: 40 min \* Thomas Hill Reservoir: 40 min \* Finger Lakes State Park OHV/ motorcross: 40 min \* Amish Community (Clark): 30 min \* Casey's Gas Station: 3 min \* Dollar General: 4 min \* Walmart Supercenter: 17 min

If you are bold and want to enjoy nature nudist style, that is welcomed, but ONLY at your campsite and maybe a larger area for an additional fee once you arrive. This place is NOT a nudist camp, but it is private enough that you can be comfortable in your area. We thank you for taking the time to read our post. If you have any questions, feel free to get hold of us at anytime.

The Missouri Wildflower Nursery stocked an item I couldn't find anywhere else (Rock Pink (Phemeranthus calycinus)). I ordered it on a Monday, received immediate confirmation of my order. I received a shipping notification the following day, and I received the plants on Thursday. The plants were in fantastic condition - neatly and carefully packed with newspaper to keep the pots damp, and large bubble wrap to cushion the delicate plants. They came out of the box without issues, looked as if I bought them at the nursery down the street, and were full of buds waiting to bloom. Best online experience I could want. 5-stars!

I went in the fall. I got good information from the website and the people working there. It's a great place to visit as well as to buy plants.

This place was gorgeous. We traveled here on a snowy day in late April. You travel down a gravel road dotted with wildflowers, then drive past greenhouses filled with sprouts and park near a cabin-esque house. Next to the house are rows and rows of nicely labeled native plants to pick from. Carts and trays are handy at every turn. There are aquatic plants in the back, as well as vines, bushes, and saplings. Between the flowers and back area are mix packs of native plants to get you started right if you are unsure of what to get. The plants are a good price. 2.75 for small pots, 5 for medium, and 10 to 12 for large. I am unsure of bush and tree prices. I was so excited, I spent quite a bit of money. You simply pull your cart up to the house doors and someone comes out to check you out. We were asked if we needed help quite a few times, so don't fret thinking you will have to guess which plants are best. Overall, this place is a hidden treasure and we'll worth the drive.

I pass through Jeff City a lot for work and I've always wanted to stop by. I finally did yesterday and this place is gorgeous! They have a large variety of native plants and they're all well taken care of. The staff is really helpful and more than happy to answer any questions that you might have. They have a small gift shop where they sell mixed seeds, t shirts and such. Since I was traveling, I ended up just buying some seeds. I can't wait to plant them in the fall/winter and see how they come out in the spring. Highly recommend this place for plants

I love MO Wildflowers!! I live in St. Louis City, but because they travel to Kirkwood Farmers Market and other local events throughout the spring, summer, and fall, I can easily order the plants online and pick them up. They have SO many wonderful native plant options. I have used their incredibly helpful website to help me plan and replace most of my backyard and entire front yard with native plants. They have tools for sorting by bloom time, how tall the plant is, and professional recommendation, water and sun needs, etc. They are a Missouri treasure.
