Thomas is the coolest host ever he should own this place and give tours. Story of seeing big foot watching him play guitar priceless.

If you can survive the wild highway 4 wildlife youll definitely tell about it

I had a great trip largely due the camp host Eric "Gunny" Gunnison. The campground is clean my campsite was raked, table, and bear box leveled.

This is the only time I have seen this in California campgrounds. I see it in Oregon campgrounds but not California with the exception of this campground and it's host.

The grounds keeper is super cool and welcoming. We forgot our can opener and he let us borrow his own! We of course made him a plate of food in return. This is a quiet camp ground. We got to see a deer at our camp site and many different kinds of birds.

Located just off a highway, but traffic is very light and nearly non-existent at night.

Host is awesome! Very friendly and informative

I stayed on the south side, most campsites are visible from at least one other campsite.

There is a path from the southern most sites down to the creek. Apparently great fishing, as attested by a fellow camper.

As indicated on multiple websites, their water is out of service so you'll need to bring your own.
