This small campground is located in a partially restored 19th-century mining town. Please plan to bring your own water. Don't use the water running through the campground from Jordan Creek because it may contain mercury from prior mining activity in the area.

We had a picnic lunch surrounded by beauty. There were a couple of nice tables and trash cans near by. They also have a couple of decent outhouses. The people in the town were very nice as we drove through the town. It was a nice day outing!
Fantastic place to find quartz crystals, camp, and generally have a nice relaxing time.
Peaceful and friendly.
