We couldn't get into Woodfield this year. We cled the first day we were told we could make reservations and they were full. We stayed the last 2 summers. Enjoyed activities. No dog area but we were able to criss the street, I'm not sure that is an option now. I understand they are going to mostly permanent sites but only open 6 months a year when we last checked.
The place is clean and the people are very friendly. Unfortunately, the RV spots are frustrating. They are narrow and the electrical panel to connect to is a distance away. We had to move to another spot because our cable could not reach. The area seems to accommodate RV's while they continue selling lots and building cute small homes. There is no common amenities such as bath/shower or dog run/play area.
We stopped in for a 2 day visit in late May, 2021. Beautiful setting in the trees with particular attention by the park management to maintaining the flora and the fauna. We quickly decided to stay for the summer and we ordered a Park Model and selected a future site for the coming years. Absolutely love the place.
Ww own a one bedroom park model. We love it. The grounds are immaculate. The owners have strict rules about the premises so keeps the riff raff out.
Woodfield is adorable. It might be the White Mountains' best kept secret!! We love the local hiking and paddling Show Low Lake (4 min away). If you're lucky, you can snag an RV reservation. If you're SUPER lucky, you can buy one of their beautiful, modern Park Model Homes as a vacation home. The porches are huge!! Love all the events clubs and activities too. Everyone we've met is very friendly and welcoming!
