We have stayed at serendipity on numerous occasions and have also been there several times to eat at the restaurant. The yurt camping experience was very fun and relaxing. Eating at the dip restaurant was amazing. The food and customer service was excellent. This is one of our all-time favorite places to go. We even took our kids there this summer to enjoy the inflatable water park in which they had a blast. My wife and I went there for our 10 year anniversary. I had reached out to Daphne about two or three weeks before our anniversary to make a reservation. She was very accommodating, she even noticed that there were some bad weather coming in on the night of our reservation and suggested moving it to a better date. Daphne and Rob are just amazing people that have put their heart and soul into this little gem in Brownsville!
Such a beautiful getaway from the city! We’ve been here several times to play disc golf and we enjoyed our driest time camping out here. It is well kept and everything you need is right there. The water park is a blast and the disc golf course is great! My only complaint is that there aren’t many trash cans around the course. Just one on hole 4. Other than that, everything is perfect!
Lovely place. Great hospitality. Recommend for summer time. Peaceful place and they got nice small beach area. You can rent golf carts to drive around. They have a sunset tower ( really high and not so secured for the climb so don’t recommend)
One suggestion to the business is to get the tents cleaned out for people who booked them as the one we stayed really had stains and looked disgusting inside.
The park should have different rates for winter, considering most of the free amenities can't be utilized then. I have to assume it's nice in summer though, it's a pretty park with a lot of play space for kids. They have a bath house with a shower/bathroom combo. The bathroom never had toilet paper, soap, or paper towels my whole two week stay but the laundry was free when it was available. The walking/biking path is pretty decrepit and the owners let the dogs run around the grounds and in the office even though they have a leash rule. A few tweaks and I would gladly come back in spring/summer
