Nice and peaceful but I’m not sure it’s much of an overlook or review. A few parking spots and a little bit of a view of the valley, but not much in some green mountain.
Beautiful Scenic Overlook for a pitstop on your way to Asheville and beyond. Located right before the North Carolina/Tennessee State line on I-26 East, it's a great spot to stop and stretch your legs. Get your two legged and four legged passengers out for a quick walk up to the overlook point. I will warn you that there are no restrooms or covered facilities here, just a scenic overlook to enjoy the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.
Beautiful view! Very clean and well kept area. The overlook area is accessible via an ADA compliant access ramp and has three benches for sitting in the center. They are spaced out well, so you can sit and enjoy the sights peacefully without being crammed right beside other people. It's a very spacious area, so there's plenty of room, even for a large crowd. This is a great place to stop and admire the mountain scenery. It's conveniently near the interstate so this is a good spontaneous sight seeing stop that won't take you out of your way. There's plenty of parking spaces available. The flagstone walls of the overlook blend nicely with the natural scenery.
Absolutely gorgeous. I'm from Louisiana and to see a view like that was great. This planet 🌏 is so beautiful and ugly, make sure you get a chance to see more of the beauty it's worth the memories.
