From Bakersfield take Highway 178 East, to the town of Lake Isabella. In Lake Isabella take highway 155 North following the western edge of the lake approximately 3 miles

Very disappointing this visit. No showers. How can you go camping and not be able to take a shower when its 110 degrees out and to cool down you get into the algae filled lake. Last time my family and i will come here
My husband and I moved up here last year we love how slow and quiet it is up here! We are used too mass traffic and over crowding where ppl have no idea of personal space! River was peaceful we will be back!
Nice view of the lake and a lot of spots to camp. Beautiful environment and awesome scenery.
