Locatelli is one of my favorites. Boutique wines don't feel hot or over extracted. They're well balanced.. family owned by sweet people. Great experience
Along with the very good to excellent new releases the tasting room has been enlarged & remodeled. Lots of room for events as they have built a new production & barrel facility by the entrance. Also if you're a Harvest Host or Club member bring your RV for a night.
They recently moved the winemaking facility to a new building. We tasted wines in the old huge room, like a barn. Brooke served us 7 wines, all very good. She provided copious amounts of information and history. My favorite was the 2021 Rousanne which was full-bodied with a crisp finish. Loved the 2019 Luna Piena, aged in American oak 2 years and has 84% Merlot.
Had a wonderful experience at Locatelli! The staff is super helpful and attentive in every way! The space is gorgeous and was not super busy. The wine was extremely high quality and tasteful. Definitely recommend this winery!
