During my stay the office closed early and opened late. Daily leaf blowing started promptly dry 7 am. Occasionally earlier with the "quiet" bowers
There were ants everywhere, we ended up having to bug bomb our camper when we got home.
But it is affordable, about an hour from the beach and the restrooms are clean
The campground was well kept up. By well kept up I mean they start at 6:45 with the "quiet" yard work tools and right at 7am with the weed eater and blower. Management on opening and closing were relaxed because they closed an hour before time said and I was waiting about 40 mins past when they were supposed to open. The sites are fairly small and felt more like a parking lot than a campground and I've never had so many issues with ants than I did at this campground.
The one thing I did appreciate was the nice woman who cleaned the bathrooms. She did it every day and did a great job at it!
For the price it was ok but honestly I will probably look around a little more before coming back to this one. Maybe it was just my experience, I hope it was just mine.
A beautiful campground that is kept in A+ shape everyday. I've never seen cleaner bathrooms and showers. They have a lot of directed activities for everyone. The heated saltwater pool is amazing! The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help with anything.
Pros: The campground itself is super nice, beautiful trees, great location and the community of people was awesome. The amenities were well kept as well.
Cons: THE GAS LEAFBLOWER, this thing ran damn near every morning we were there for hours from 8/9 until whenever. If you like to sit outside and enjoy the weather and a coffee in the morning good luck. Seemed overkill to blow leaves 4/7 days a week. Kicking up dust too. This was infuriating.
The laundry is a scam, $5 to get a card, then you have to load the card with additional funds because the initial $5 is for the card itself and doesn't count. Can't use $1s or change.
The sites are super cramped. Not a HUGE deal in our small camper but if you have a big rig, prepare yourself.
Great place to wind down, quiet, clean and friendly. Stayed in February for
5 nights and all campers were extremely friendly. Bathrooms had showers and flush toilets and were very well maintained. Convenient location as base camp for exploring Ft Myers beaches and Sanibel Island. Highly recommend !!!!
