Park is nice. Yes, it is going through renovations but nothing that is impeding the current sites. Yes, there is a mix of full timers and RVers, but honestly, I arrived way after hours due to my own travel time and my neighbor so gracious to help me back in to my spot at 10:30pm. Please don't judge...I definitely pushed my last leg of coming home. My site electrical post was not operational, important note to RVers, this is why you use your surge protector before connecting to your rigs. Because it was so late at night, I just pulled into an empty spot across from me and went into the office first thing in the morning to report the issue. The office responded immediately and moved me to a very nice spot. All staff worked together to make this happen. A couple suggestions but nothing that would deter me from staying here again, is yes, I agree the patio furniture on the sites should probably be thrown away. They probably left them there for outside gatherings but not worth keeping and i wouldn't sit on them, but again, nothing that would deter me from staying here again. Second, was the height of the sewer pipe. It's much higher than the ground so when you're dumping your tanks, the flow is not down but up and it was the longest dump tank process I have ever gone through, somewhat frustrating menuervering my hose. My recommendation would be to cut down the height of the pipe so the flow from your rig to the Sewer is down. But again nothing to deter me from not staying here again. The park has A LOT of potential as it has a clubhouse and great space for lots of great ideas. My recommendation is to also focus on adding to the extra space around the pool (pool bar and eatery), especially coming into season. All neighbors and staff were super nice and friendly and the park is quiet. Definitely don't judge when you arrive but know they are renovating to make it better for the RVers. Rome wasn't but in a day so cut them some slack with the process.

Absolute worst KOA ever stayed at no redeeming qualities. It looked like I’ve refugee camp that has been recently bombed. When I made the reservations they did not mention the construction the tight conditions barely were able to drive in without disconnecting towed. As far as I’m concerned, I was absolutely ripped off.

This place has been UNDER CONSTRUCTION for years due to the high staff turn over .

It is rated a 1 for work campers . No work is truly ever completed.

The owner is a slim lord and definitely has no clue how to run a KOA .. I wish KOA would pull their branding from this owner.

Work and stay at your own risk.

Saw a lot of reviews, and yes it’s under construction but we were welcomed by all the staff very nicely. The side we were assigned was nice with a little patio. All hook ups were perfectly fine. It’s great for a night or two when you are passing through. 45 min to South Beach is for Miami not bad.
