Schildberg Recreation Area offers miles of level walking or biking trails around three lakes with benches and picnic tables along the trails. A pedestrian bridge connects the Schildberg Recreation Area with more trails east of Olive Street/Highway N-16 around the Little League Sports Complex. Fishing and no-wake boating are allowed at Schildberg Recreation Area and a new campground will open in 2017. A dog park is located on the west side of Bull Creek Road with two fenced areas for large and small dogs to run freely. The park opens at 6:00 and closes at dusk.

Took my dog there so he could run around because he does not get to at home. There are 2 nice sized play areas for big dogs and another for little dogs.

Can't wait to see the campground in a few years when the trees are established. Camp hosts were awesome, QR code system is easy to use and there are lots of amenities. City should add a second shower house once the additional pads are live.
