Super cool campground, right on the mtb trails. Hours riding single track north or south.
Clean bathrooms and showers.
Don't miss flowmama trail
I've stayed here a couple times over the past few years. It's always been super easy to find and within minutes of arrival I'm feeling relaxed and ready to kick back. Showers and bathrooms were super clean and well marked and lit for those early morning visits. On one visit I camped, another my group stayed in a cabin. Both were perfect.
Trails are nearby and we were happy to use this as our mountain bike hub for a couple days. We'll be back in 2024!
My second time staying at Roam in one of the cabins. It is a beautiful, relaxing place. The cabins are so thoughtfully laid out and comfortable. Access to the trails was great. Not enough snow for snowshoes this time, but wonderful options for walking in the woods. All the fun of cooking outdoors with all the comfort of a good bed in a warm room at bedtime. And a fantastic sauna!
Well-maintained and quiet campsite nestled in the Cheq forest with close access to trails. I have stayed here multiple times and only had great experiences.
I realized today that none of the other reviews show the facilities. The cleanliness of the bathrooms heavily influences my mom’s decision to go camping. I am attaching pictures of the inside of the bathrooms to show how clean they always are. It feels like I’m using a bathroom in someone’s house rather than in the middle of the woods. Mom approved!
This place is fantastic! Love that it is set off a dirt road in the country but still close enough to towns to run in for coffee, food or outings. The cabins are perfectly set up and can sleep up to 6 people! They are simple but well designed. The fire pit has a cooking rack and they provided chairs. We will definitely be back!
