Easy hike. Nice view of the river. The dam is long gone, the signs explain the history.
Super cool spot, nice easy. 4 mile walk to get there (there is a moderate slope down towards the beginning). Sandy shoreline, decent fishing, a few historical plaques explaining the historical significance of the place!
Easy short hike to a nice overlook of the river. It does have a sandy beach to wade, fishing or swim.
