This is our second year at Lazy Bear and we could not be happier!

We are in the newer part of the campground that features new water, electrical (20, 30, and 50 amp service) and new septic. If you are a Verizon customer, they have a new tower about 1/4 mile south of the campground. I can work in the trailer during the week and regularly have internet speeds around 80 to 90 mb. I can do Teams meetings with video and audio without any buffering.

Paul and Kellee do a great job of keeping things running smoothly and are responsive if you have any issues or concerns. We recently bought land in the area but we expect it will take 2 years to get fully completed and ready for retirement. Until then we will be at Lazy Bear!

Exceptional experience! Tons to do in the surrounding area. Community showers are kept very clean and staff attends to any urgent needs. Already planning another family trip here at Lazy Bear!

Camp ground is nice, they added another section to the campground that used to be a football field, nice drive around loop for kids to ride bikes but they are still working on planting trees and getting more campers in. Seems to be in a good spot for most in the area. The only down fall is the lack of kid friendly activities or options. Would be nice to see an update playground, jungle gym and some sort of poop/water option. Possibly have weekend activities for the kids or appoint someone to run those activities for the campers. Would also be nice to get some sort of map of the area and options for food/trails/etc.
