I can't say too much because I just stopped to look at some patio papers. But it looked nice...
Awesome stop. We are hiking the ice age trail and storms were rolling in. The let us use the cabins for a super reasonable rate. Showers, bathrooms, quiet night of sleep. People were great. Thanks so much shady rest. Highly recommend.
It will be impossible to find more generous, kind people than the owners of Shady Rest. Can’t thank them enough for their unbelievable hospitality.
!!!! Cannot recommend this place enough as an ice age hiker !!!! Called and talked to mike and he said I could set my tent up on their property (it’s October so it’s really cold). Went inside and had some beers and enjoyed delicious pizza, and then I started talking to Ellie who also owns the place. She went ahead and set up a nice warm cabin for me to stay in because it was going to be cold tonight. I can’t even explain how full my heart feels from this generosity and kindness.
I Had amazing conversations at the bar, everybody is SO welcoming and friendly and lovely! Ellie and Mike, outstanding business you have here and what wonderful people you are.🦋
OMG!!! The people here are STUPENDOUS!!! So friendly and kind!!! A fun place to be! We didn't want to leave!!! See you in May!!!
