We probably picked the hottest weekend to visit but I was totally impressed!!! Campground was clean and well maintained. The staff were curious and professional. Sites were big and roomy. The bathrooms were like being in a hotel! The view of nature and the night time stars were spectacular! The campers were friendly and not obnoxious. For being a holiday weekend, it was really quiet! I give this campground a 5 star rating! We will return soon!!

Amazing campground!! We stayed in one of the tent sites for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Even though the river was completely dry, there was still plenty to do. Kids loved the jump pad, playing in the dry river bed, fishing and all of us (including the dog!) loved the swimming hole. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and never crowded. One day we hiked at Lost River State park which was very easy to get to from the campground. Only drawback was that our tent site was pretty close to another family, but overall the sites here were much larger than many other campgrounds.

Beautiful campground, very relaxing and peaceful. The kind of campground you go to enjoy the serenity, peace and quiet. Blue herons and eagles nesting across the creek, deer run across the beautiful trail with view of the surrounding mountains. Everyone was friendly, owners were fantastic, making a point to wave or stop and chat. Sites are bigger, and you can see the care and planning they put into how the sites are designed. Restrooms are modern and very clean. If you want a relaxing, quiet, peaceful place to see wildlife, stars and near beautiful parks this it.

We can’t wait to return 😃

Fantastic Campground! Every site is level & well-groomed. It rained while we were there and I was pleasantly surprised that the site wasn't muddy. There's a section of AstroTurf at each site. Excellent idea as we have a dog and it was so nice not to have to worry about his muddy paws getting in & out of the camper. Each site also has a large picnic table and a fire ring.

The bathhouses are amazing! There are large separate rooms in the bathhouse and even one family-sized room for parents with children. They are exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with grey & white tile. Each site is numbered and has a motion sensor light that illuminates the number if you arrive after sundown. Most of the sites were occupied yet our entire weekend was quiet & relaxing. The check-in station is stocked with an array of supplies, hats, T-shirts & more. It was beautifully decorated for fall & again exceptionally clean. Steven & Miranda have done a fantastic job with this campground. They truly have thought of every detail which made our stay amazing! We look forward to making reservations again in the near future.

What a beautiful campground right next to the north fork of the Shenandoah river! The campground was clean, the bathroom facilities were spotless and well appointed. Check in was a breeze. Loved the dog park! If we had kids with us I know they would have enjoyed the jumping pillow and swings. We will definitely be back!
