Rooms were nice. Great view. Housekeeper was wonderful. Location is beautiful.

The restaurant there has changed their menu. Food is not as good as it used to be, and prices higher.

Wait staff also not particularly friendly.

My four year old and I woke up to a man outside our window on the roof, banging his way into the next room. We were terrified and called the front desk, who had no idea what I was talking about and told us to stay in our room. We were terrified. 20 minutes later the manager knocks on our door twice and scares us even more, only to inform us that the owner is doing maintenance in the room next to us. No heads up, no forewarning. We got no sleep, and after complaining the owner just made more noise. They obviously don’t care about their patrons so we will NOT be back.

The Rimrock Lodge was an absolutely lovely experience. All the staff was so helpful from telling me the best way to drive while reserving my room, to check in, to every meal at the restaurant, and the great bartenders. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and so helpful when I was stressed about driving in snow. This was a work trip to remember, and of course the VIEWS. This place is beyond words gorgeous, and a true gem! I had never been in to Montana and now I’m trying to figure out how to make it happen again.

It’s a great price and a beautiful place to stay ! Private, friendly, and luxurious for a fantastic price ! The night before we came here we spent almost the same price to stay in sandpoint where the tub wouldn’t drain and the water came out brown. Not here at the Rimrock! The room is super clean the sheets are immaculate . This morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the river and I walked over and got a delicious breakfast for two and it was hot and ready in less than 20 minutes :) would highly recommend!
