If you are looking for a friendly, peaceful RV Park with scenic beauty, fishing, and hiking with exceptional personal service, located on the edge of the beautiful Hill Country, the Republic of Texas Campground welcomes you and your family. Our campground is located at 17404 Highway 16, approximately 7 miles south of Comanche, TX 76442, 35 miles northwest of Hamilton, TX, and 27 miles north of Goldthwaite, TX. This campground currently offers 26 spacious sites, 12 of which are pull-through. Included in these sites are both 30- and 50-amp hookups, water, sewage, WIFI, gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. Other amenities include a pet area, children’s playground, fishing, hiking, picnic areas, fire rings, a full kitchen available for special events (located in the office), detached bathroom and shower facilities, ice machine, outdoor and indoor TV, communal area with smoker, gazebos and outdoor games.

We had an amazing time at the grand opening of the Republic of Texas Campground. The scenery is beautiful, and the people are so nice! Our kids loved to play cornhole and play on the playground, and we all enjoyed fishing at the pond. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful location with lots of pecan and oak trees and a nice pond for catch and release fishing!! Kids had fun at the play ground, roasting marshmallows at one of many fire pits, and of course fishing. We enjoyed hanging out with the other guests on the porch of the office and playing various yard games. Fun and relaxing for the whole family!
Republic of Texas Campground is amazing. It sits on some of the most beautiful land and is so peaceful! It is has been the perfect location for us to full-time RV while we are house hunting. The owners are GREAT!! Highly recommend, you will love it!!

During our extended stay as we build in the area, we encountered an unexpected visitor. When I reached out to Ashley for advice on nearby accommodations, she went above and beyond to secure a fantastic spot for our guest.

One standout aspect is the sense of community fostered by the park. Monthly buffets hosted by Chadd and Ashley create a wonderful opportunity for guests to come together, share experiences, and build lasting connections.
Moreover, the campgrounds strategic location just outside the gateway to the hill country adds to its appeal. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas while providing a serene and secure environment to return to.
