Took out our private raft here after a 10-mile float from Pumphouse. Among the services offered by the small entrepreneurial community here is shuttle service for raft trailers from upriver put-ins and a small outdoor bar. Lots of camper parking space and a lively crowd milling around after a busy River day.
Rancho Del Rio provided an unforgettable rafting experience, and having the fantastic guides Miles Busby and Dudley made it all the more remarkable. Miles' expertise was evident as he skillfully navigated us through the rapids, ensuring our safety without compromising the excitement. His knowledge of the local environment added depth to the journey, and his energy was infectious. What's more, Dudley, the co-guide, was an absolute blast to have along. His humor and camaraderie were the perfect complement to Miles' leadership. Together, Miles and Dudley created an adventure that combined adrenaline, education, and laughter for an unforgettable day on the water!
Thank you for a very warm welcome and lovely accommodation in cute cabins. The cabin had everything we could need and a grill in front of it that we enjoyed with friends in the evening. If you want, you can have a lot of experiences. Go down the river, look at dinosaur's footprint in the rock opposite the campsite or go on a trail. The super trail was not far away where the path is carved into the rock. So again a big thank you and we recommend this place to everyone.
The people here are amazing! So nice and helpful! The campsite is located perfectly on the Colorado River, with beautiful views and a great environment to enjoy time in nature. We are especially thankful to Jim and his family for everything.
