Well maintained trail but steep in places, 2,000 altitude gain. We logged 9 miles round trip. Try it.

A perfect place for some backpacking. We spent 2 nights here. The backcountry sites are close to the beach, but tucked away out of the wind. Absolutely beautiful place with views of Mt. Meeker and Longs Peak. Be aware- there is no longer a pit toilet on site here (some older backcountry guides will say otherwise.)

Beautiful lake in RMNP. The hike itself is pretty but nothing abnormal or crazy. Pretty forest with a creek running alongside. The river is a gem though and has great views of Longs

Nice trailhead with a small amount of parking. Public toilets. No public water source. Made for a nice little hike with a few different trails options.

Didn't do the trail, so I can't rate it. Stopped at the first lake but the park is beautiful
