From jct US 70 & SR 48: Go 1/10 mi W on SR 48, then 1 block N on Sutton Dr, then 2-1/4 mi W on Gavilan Canyon Rd.
We set up in #16 nice view (in our opinion best space at RV park due to not being in close proximity of other campers, but is a little loud at some points due to traffic on main road). David the grounds keeper was very funny, lots of laughs funny jokes, very knowledgeable of area. We seen two bears and some deer. ONLY downfall was our sewer hook up did not work sewer was backed up, we had to use bathe house and our own holding tank (which I preferred NOT to use due to being a FULL hook up RV park). Bathe house was fairly clean, I would've preferred to bathe in my own RV. ALL in ALL our trip was fun; the lady that checked us in was friendly.
Very nice lady who checked us in. Nice 1st experience for my son. Very friendly neighbors too.
The owners, Quade and Kristin, were fantastic hosts and Canyon Hideaway is beautiful. The shower house was so clean, and access to WiFi was great. I cannot highly recommend this lovely escape enough. We can’t wait to come back!
