So many great hikes in this area! This one starts out fairly steep, it's kind of steep in the middle, and then gets steep near the end. Ha ha. It's not too bad, but more difficult than many around. Once you get into the middle of those cliffs, it is so beautiful! I have seen these cliffs from the valley my whole life. Getting up here between them is a new perspective that is easily worth it!

Great hike and easy to find trailhead. Would recommend in the summer to leave early so your not hiking in the dead of the heat.

Absolutely gorgeous this time of year. Perfect Sunday hike! Was relatively easy for my husband and I, but we have 3 young kids and ended up carrying all 3 of them.

Amazing place to hike and mountain bike and hunt. There are so many trails that you can take and even go off on a bunch of game trails. You should be able to see plenty of deer, elk, and birds as you walk around in the early morning or the evening. Great place to take kids as well.

Beautiful scenery and a nice hike. There's one point in the hike that just opens up and you see this wonderful greenery and meadow. That was probably the peak of the hike. After that you keep going -- and I never finished -- but it gets to a point that all you're doing is hiking in-between dead or dry trees so it got boring. But going back down you get the same effect of seeing the green openness.
