The road here is rough! But manageable! It’s just a bumpy ride for about 25 minutes. Definitely worth it for the view. And the pink lake.
It took 20 years to get here but oh what a beautiful landscape installation! Thank you DIA for preserving it for us to make pilgrimages to see the beautiful Great Salt Lake through an artistic intervention. The drive was relatively easy, aside from right at the end when I almost turned too early at an old pier but then realized that I needed to go one more minute to the end of the road. Please drive slowly if you see other vehicles because nobody wants to experience your dust. And enjoy the beauty!
Pretty cool!! Really far out there but the water was amazing. It is very salty and the walk to get to the water can be very painful if barefoot.
This was well off the paved road and about an hour drive, the water was way out, but it was absolutely worth the drive. The north area of salt lake was pink in color and the salt foam was a great experience for our kids. The views were just great taking.
Great spot to see something different and experience the great Salt Lake. Stop by the Golden spike while you're on your way. Road has been much improved in the last few years. Any car should make it if you drive normal.
