We really enjoyed our time at Wander Camp. The beds and pillows were really nice and comfy. I was impressed with the warm shower setup and overall the bathrooms were pretty nice. They also have community fire pits. It was a nice experience and I would definitely stay again. However, do not come here without a vehicle that’s capable of driving off road as you have to cross a ravine. It was quite a dip into the ravine and there was some standing water. We were glad we drove our Outback and it still felt a bit sketchy. Seems like it could be a fairly easy fix to either fill that area in a bit more or build something to make it more traversable.

TLDR: The property did not provide the address or camp site number until 11pm on the day we were supposed to check in, despite check in being at 4pm. They offered a partial refund but never sent it despite multiple follow up's over the past 2 months.

I recently had a stay with Wander Camp at their Olympic National Park location. I had pre paid the full amount and had filled in the check in form in advance of my stay, as requested by the company. Check in was at 4pm and I did not receive the address or tent number I was assigned until 11pm. Despite calling their phone lines and messaging on their website and WhatsApp number, it took 2 hours for someone to get back to me on where the camp site was located as the address was hidden on the booking site. In the next weeks, Wander Camp reached out and appeared to be very helpful and even offered a 50% refund on the stay, but despite my 10 emails over the last two months, they have not sent me the money. They have emailed me confirming the amount and have consistently said "end of week", but they have not held up their end. They also asked me to post a positive review in exchange for a gift card for a future visit despite my issues that I've communicated to them via email and on the phone.

The site was beautiful! The tent and bathrooms.were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The campfire was perfect and the location just outside of Bryce was very convenient. We came from the East coast, so not having to schlep all of our camping gear for one night was tremendous. Our camp host worked tirelessly and made sure the accommodations were as expected. Being able to share a dark sky experience with my boys was priceless! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at wander camp. The location is incredible with unobstructed views in all directions and no visible neighbors, only 10 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. The camp is rustic - only basic amenities, no plumbing or electricity as you might expect. Toilets and showers are in a trailer near the parking lot, as is the staff container if you need extra supplies, firewood, etc.

Water is limited (it had run out by morning), but otherwise everything was provided for a lovely stay.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, the tents are in good shape, beds comfortable and a few shared fire pits for cooking or meeting other campers. I loved the communal feel and and would definitely return. Bring a headlamp.

We stayed at the Wander Camp Bryce Canyon in early October. We were very excited as the location was only 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon, but away from the the town. The tents were very nice, clean and spaced out enough for some privacy. The location of the camp was very quiet and at night the sky was absolutely amazing. We were nervous about reviews we had read about crossing Paria River to get to the camp. While we were there, the water level was pretty low so we had no issues at all, but I can see where you could have issues if the water level was higher for a sedan. The only issue we had during our stay was that the water pump/heater in the bathrooms was not functional. There was enough water to flush the toilet and wash hands, but the showers were out of order for the entire stay. This put a damper on trip as showers are key after a long day of hiking. The bathrooms were nice and clean though, so if they would have been functioning, I would have given this location 5 stars.
