About Campground

Nestled just beyond the treeline at the top of a two acre berry farm, the Blueberry Barn is the perfect private retreat in the mountains. Our 12’x12’ tiny house is off-grid for maximum unplugged relaxation. Wake up to a glorious chorus of birdsong, and drift off to sleep to the twinkling of fireflies after a berry beautiful sunset from the top of our orchard. The Blueberry Barn is perched in the woods about 100 yards of moderate uphill hiking from the parking area. Electricity and drinking water are available near the parking area.

The Blueberry Barn currently has a sleeping loft with a twin mattress, a twin bed, hooks for one hammock, and open floor space for extra sleeping space. There is a private outhouse nearby. A small fire ring allows for campfires, easily accommodating marshmallow roasting and outdoor cooking. The Blueberry Barn does not have insulation, electricity or running water. Electricity and water are available near the parking area, a 100 yard hike from the tiny house.

Pucker Up Berry Farm is home to more that thirty different varieties of berries, plus organic vegetable and flower gardens. Plan a guided tour as part of your visit to experience small family farming at its best. You can gather eggs for your breakfast cooked over a campfire, make a salad from in-season veggies harvested from our gardens, and explore our berry orchard. Pucker Up Berry Farm is conveniently located between Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest with easy access to hiking, swimming, mountain biking, and paddling opportunities.

Pucker Up Berry Farm is an amazing, beautiful place in the North Carolina mountains! I had an amazing time at the farm full of singing, dancing, laughing, ducks, rabbits, and flowers! The farm is owned by the most kind, loving, and friendly family. When I visited, we drank delicious homemade kombucha, made flower crowns, had a campfire, and spent the evening singing with some amazing people. I strongly recommend visiting the farm!!

Our visit to Pucker Up Berry Farm was a complete delight for my entire family. For our August visit, the farm was brimming with beautiful flowers--dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, and wildflowers--and my six-year-old was thrilled to be guided in cutting a selection and building her own bouquet. Thunder the adorable rabbit and the chickens were also a huge hit. Not only were we able to purchase the very cherry trees that I'd been searching for, but Eric was so generous with his time and with the farm and with his gardening knowledge throughout our visit. If you are lucky enough to have a chance to visit as well, do--you'll be delighted too.

Pucker Up Berry Farm is a great place to visit! There is so much to see including vegetables, flowers, berries & animals! I learned so much about farming in the short time I was there. You can tell that a lot of time & care has gone into cultivating the welcoming environment Pucker Up Berry Farm has. Wendy & Eric are wonderful teachers & make the experience hands-on and enriching.

I absolutely loved my stay at Pucker Up Berry Farm!! The whole farm has such a lovely serene and peaceful feel to it that's only enhanced by gorgeous sunsets you can view from the top of their orchard. Wendy and Eric were such warm and welcoming hosts and they put a lot of love into building and maintaining their farm. They are incredibly kind and informative teachers when it comes to anything related to their farm or hidden gems in Brevard. It's a great place to unplug and relax (but of course, there are outlets to plug into, if need be, in their well-equipped outdoor kitchen!) Everything from their vegetable garden to their homemade kombucha to their beautiful flower garden is unmatched!! I'll definitely have to return for berry season.

My husband, five kiddos, and I had a wonderful visit at Pucker Up Berry Farm. Wendy and Eric were super friendly, informative, and great with the kids. We snuggled bunnies, chased chickens, sampled berries, and made bouquets from their flower garden to take home as a souvenir. Whether you’re local or visiting the area, I highly recommend checking out this unique experience!
