Yates RV Resort campground provides you with large back in spaces.
Each site 35ft wide, gravel pads 12-15ft wide and 50ft deep. Pull through site gravel pad is slightly smaller 40-45ft long.
Each site has full hookup with their own dedicated 50A and 30A electrical circuit.
Close to gas, food , and laundry mat.
From the time we met and fell in love we have loved to camp, from backwoods primitive tent camping to full hookup from mountains to the beach. In late 2020 we started to build our own little campground on a piece of our 22 acre property to provide a safe clean, drug free place for travel nurses or anyone that is traveling or working close by and wanted to stay in the foothills of the North Carolina mountains.
Wonderful find. Will definitely work a return visit as soon as our schedule allows. After having a bad day on the road and leaving one campsite, we were lucky to find this gem. Michael and Kim made us feel at home as if we were part of their family. Wide sites Beautiful views.
Yates Campground is number one! Mike and Kim go the extra mile in everything and every way to make your stay home away from home . They’re always making sure everything’ and everyone is good and don’t need anything. There were a few times we were under the weather and they were so kind to check on us, and make a run to the store for us.❤️ We love it there . Couldn’t ask for any more friendlier, thoughtful and helpful people than them. . Looking forward to going back !
Nice clean campground. Kim and Mike are very friendly and accommodating. We were suppose to stay there on our way home from the mountains but my truck broke down and we had to cancel last minute. They refunded our money which was very gracious..Thanks guys. Only issue is Saturday night traffic noise if you stay on the front row. Not bad but noticeable. Mike has built a berm which helps. You can also hear the race track a few miles up the road. After about 1 things were quiet. We'll be back, can't wait for the expansion.
Just one thing Mike. Love your patriotism flying the colors at your gate, but if they're going to fly at night please light old glory up!!! Until next time...and thanks again.
Wow!!!!...Just WOW!!!! If there was a 10 star option, I would smash that button in a second. I can't say enough great things about this place and the owners. Beautifully kept spacious, level, gravel sites with concrete pads, solid picnic tables, and large, no joke fire pits. There is a large fenced in dog park for your pups to run free and a beautiful walking trail. To top it all off, the owners Ms. Kim and her husband Michael are absolutely amazing. Without a doubt the nicest, most genuine, warm-hearted people you'll ever want to meet. They are truly all about the guest having a great experience. Everyone here is happy and looks out for one another.
We can't wait to get back there and relax.

Yates RV Resort is a beautiful Western NC campground. Mike and Kim are friendly hosts and make you feel that you’re part of the community. The campground is quiet and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants in Forest City. They’re putting significant efforts into maintaining and expanding the campground. We also had great internet at this park!
