Quiet campground near the lake (walking distance). All gravel sites but well maintained. A lot of full-timers living here but seems safe enough. Some 50amp and you can use a dog-leg splitter for two 15Amps if needed. We ran our 45foot Newell (all electric) ok but only one a/c at a time; depends on how your 50amp legs are assigned you might get more. Manager was very accommodating, we are accustomed to Class A 5-star resorts (yes, we're snobs) but this was pretty nice. Big rig warning: Be careful on the turn from the highway, downhill and slopes so you may drag but we did not, just swing extra wide.
Junior and his wife Elaine (I think that's her name) are amazing groundskeepers and their dog Patches is the cutest little dog I've ever seen. They keep the grounds clean and they are super friendly. The people in the grounds are friendly. The camp grounds is pet friendly. You can do extended stay for 395 a month.
Cool place, wi-fi, showers and toilets, and ists walking distance to the river/lake. Friendly people. They do vacation rental and permanent rentals.
From the pictures that I can see attributed to what they are calling pruetts campground, it is most definitely not pruetts campground, this is what used to be the Alabama Queen. Pruetts is several miles up the road, or at least what used to be pruetts. Wish it still was.
Nice managers. Monthly campers are friendly. The grounds need to be cleaned up. The monthly rates are very reasonable, clean laundry room I haven't seen the shower house but im sure it is clean. I've been here 4 months now and the longer your here well, I guess it kinds grows on you.
