Very clean and well taken care of. Nice facility. Boat ramp, pier and really nice pavilion. A small and well maintained area for campers near the entrance. A second less desirable area on the upper side. Tent sites and a bath house available. Overall a nice park.

Quiet park not far from Florence

Not a lot for kids to do besides a small playground but our granddaughters still had a great time.

Looks to have kayak rentals, fishing, a couple walking trails and a pretty decent archery range.

Full hookup and RV sites are fairly level but very manageable to get in.

Not much on shaded areas for the RVs and wish they had better fire pits/grills at the sites but we managed with what we had.

Took a look around and it seems there are areas for primitive camping as well.

All in all, for the price per night, I think this is a decent place and close to enough from the house for a quick weekend getaway. Need to bring our kayaks and fishing gear for our next stay.

We'll definitely stay here again.

Colbert Alloys is a very natural & beautiful park for RVers! As full time RVers we have called it home for a few months now, so we’ve gotten to know it well! They have concrete & gravel RV sights with full hook-ups & firepits. WiFi is available, but can be patchy. Amenities include: Water access & boat launch on Wilson Lake, multiple docks, lakeside picnic areas & swings, nature trails/hiking, playground, sandbox, pavilion, archery area, public restrooms, weather alarm, & storm shelter. Great for exploring the outdoors! Storm shelter is such a bonus in Alabama’s “Tornado Alley” for RVers & tent campers too! It’s quiet & peaceful for the most part! Kind neighbors. Lots of boaters & fishermen LOVE it here! Pets welcome too! It’s out in the country, but a grocery store, Dollar General, hardware store, gas station, laundromat, & small shopping are located just a short few miles away... And it only takes about 15 minutes to downtown Florence, AL! Jim & his wife Joy run the park here, & they are just the nicest people you could meet! We have really enjoyed our time here!

Nice little park with a boat ramp and a couple docks. The dock next to the ramp seemed in good functioning order but the one on the end was getting rotted. Still a bench swing and nice picnic tables to sit.
