From US Hwy. 72 take the Broad St. Exit (this is Hwy. 279 South). From Chattanooga DO NOT TAKE 279 Exit on east side of town, watch for mile marker 137 exit on Broad St. Park on right 2 miles.
Such a sweet and tidy place! Owner is just salt of the earth, he even pulled my little unit in for me and help set it up.
We stayed there ONCE and it taught me to never arrive after dark in an unfamiliar campground. Owner had “held” a pull through site for our 40’ class A with toad. But, I arrived and that site was filled and office was closed. I would have gone elsewhere but the camp entrance is not big rig friendly and turning around in the dark is difficult for me. Got into another back site that was SCARY terraced up a steep incline. NEVER NEVER AGAIN THERE For me! Felt like a mountain goat park on the side of a mountain.
Some good friends of mine just moved in. Place seems nice, clean, and well kept. Monthly rates are a good deal, very affordable. Seems like a very nice place to stay to me and my friends are happy there.
Quiet peaceful place. Travis is more than willing to help you in any way. If you have a big rig you want to make sure they have a space large enough. It is a by the month only park. Also a pretty steep road to get to some of the sites. I have a 40ft 5th wheel and my Chevy 3500 with 4 wheel drive had all it wanted to get me into the site.
Good landlord, can’t say anything bad about this place. Everyone is quiet at night. Price and location was good.
