A summer vacation resort with a restaurant and bar. Restaurant has a diverse menu with something for everyone. Indoor or outdoor seating available.
Beautiful part of the world. Everything was very clean with lots of amenities. Other campers were also very friendly. The only problem I had with this place was the extremely small tent campsites for high cost (50 bucks!!! a night). RV sites looked nice though. Tent sites were literally on top of one another, with no parking for your vehicle. I had to politely ask a neighboring campsite if I could park my truck in their area. The "area" where you would think you could park for your site was the only section of the camp to place a tent. The sites were very rocky and on a slope. Also, T12 site is zoned in a way where storm run off will literally flow right where your tent would need to be located. Wish I could say better things, but Tent campers beware...Worst site I ever had especially for $50 a night...not to mention $9 bags of Ice and $20, 12 packs of Coors Light...not worth it at all, as there are better options nearby for tent camping.
This is a sleepy place. Only the little general store was open. Coffee is from a Keurig, and you buy the milk from the frig. But the setting is terrific. Restrooms were small but clean.
Excellent place to go. A little pricey for not having power. Alot of hore people go there since they accommodate them. Downside is the manure is piled too close to the meadow campsites and there are flies everywhere. You have to walk past the manure pile to go to the lake also. A bit dusty, but the bar and restaurant were cool.
The area is beautiful, but poor direction and the sign boards indicating the area. Lake is serene and picturesque. Food is just great! But the service is little below average..! Timings are unreliable.
