Best location & awesome staff. Clean & affordable. Close to town & ski resorts. Can’t wait to return !! A+
Cabin in the Woods. We just finished a great week at Mammoth and we stayed in a super cool, rustic cabin at this location. While simplistic, it was not lacking for anything and was nice and clean! And, yes, really well priced!
We have stayed all over Mammoth (from bridges to juniper springs to the village) and there are many places that are super close to ski area and have pools/hot tubs and ski lockers, etc. if you require these things, Pine Cliff may not be the place for you. But it was really great for us. It had a working tv with cable/dvd, clean bathroom, sweet and easy to use kitchen, wood burning fireplace, sleds, short drives to town or Eagle Lodge. Just a note on the kitchen : it had everything I needed to cook all week long despite it’s convenient size. It stayed super warm and cozy inside and it housed our two tweens and a toddler just fine. There was even a cute snowman by our door!
The host, Tracy, was so kind and always ready to show us where the wood was or give tips on sledding.
This place is an absolute joy to stay, dog friendly, super comfortable rustic cabins and so quiet while really easily accessible to town and the tourist attractions. Tracy, the host, is also an absolute joy to deal with and is there to help! Thank you!
I love Pine 🌲 Cliff resort. The owner is a good friend of mine. Her accommodations are rustic mountain cabins that meet all your needs & give you the full affect of staying in Mammoth. My upstairs cabin bedroom & Full downstairs living area and kitchenette!⛄️❄️
This spot is not to be confused with June Lake’s Pine Cliff—this spot is in Old Mammoth and it’s a total charmer! Tracy, the owner (who is part of the charm) is a real down home hostess, with a sweet pack of dogs and great tips on local hikes and restaurants. The cabins are 50’s rustic and decked out with vintage fixtures. This is what Mammoth used to be like and if you love nostalgia, you’ll love this spot. My husband, dog and myself stayed for three nights in cabin 3 and found it cozy, with all the cooking amenities one could need. There’s even a Buck Stove and a really lovely heater too (seriously, heats the place up in minutes!). This is our new (to us) favorite spot in Mammoth and we’ll be coming back as long as this place will have us.
