So picturesquely! Not easy to get too but easy is boring right ? Backpack there , the first 4 + miles are the most incline . Once you bypass all the incline the rest is pretty stable . There are also 2 moderate inclines after Clark’s lake but not as intense as the first couples of initial miles . Beautiful trail and the lake is gorgeous!

Real Fun, Wow!

Absolutely incredible. I feel so truly grateful to have had this place for the night. The hike up was about 3.5 with plenty of sources of water along the way. When I arrived I was easily able to find a site to setup. The night was perfect and did not drop below freezing. Couldn’t recommend this place any more!

Visited in Sep. Typical camp site by the lake, but this field is huge, with many places to explore. Sunset and sunrise are spectacular.

Beautiful place. I took the high trail in and the river trail out. Plenty of raw water. Bring a filter.
