Nice and quiet spot on river. Good in summer time for swimming. Nice combination of different kind of nature - rocks, trees, river.
We went 2 times this summer 2021 beautiful place, quite clean lots of shade next to the river good for kayaking swimming hiking across the street coming back during fall to see the change of colors
I have camped throughout the greater Sabrina/South Lake basin, and Willow is my favorite campground in the area. As a tent camper, it’s extremely quiet and mellow as this is not a campground for RVs. And as a fisherman, the south fork of Bishop Creek is just steps away from each campsite, and has some really nice, quiet marbled sections here. Match the hatch and it’s off to the races.
Beautiful campground nice fishing and we seen deer. But people please pick up and take out your trash. Someone left a mess. So I took it apond myself to clean it up. Me and my brother went up for 3 days to Rock creek and one day in Sabrina camp for his 60th birthday. We drove up to South Lake and went and checked out Willow campground.
