From jct Hwy 32 & US 23: go 15 mi S on US 23, then 50 feet W on Hubert Rd.
We love camping here! The kids really enjoy the pool and game room. I feel they are safe and can easily see them from just about anywhere in the campground. The owners are wonderful people and they are working very hard on bringing it back to life from the years of neglect! Nice family friendly place. The 5 mph speed limit is strictly enforced which we appreciate. Most definitely returning in the near future.
We stayed for my sisters softball tournament! The owners greeted us with excitement and even asked about her game when we returned. They have purchased the campground in recent years and are working to fix different things. Super accommodating and personable. Felt welcomed and valued! Will be back, and probs soon!
From the reservation phone call, to the waves goodbye, Amber, staff and other campers provided our family with a wonderful experience. Although the campground is currently under daily renovations, the family atmosphere remains. The entire staff is working together along with campers to create what I predict will be one of the top family campgrounds in the area(if it isn't number one already!) Life jackets, bikes, rakes, even ibuprofen was readily available. If you want a hands on family fun getaway this is the spot. Thanks for having us! The kids can't wait to return, neither can we.
